To reach every nations
...He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their
children; ...That they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; Psalm 78:5;7
When I started my work with CEF these two verses motivated me the most, and I saw the results of them, which are linked with that promise: to set their hope in God. I didn’t have this vision before. I just wanted to teach the children to have a Christian impact on them.
But since that things has changed! Now I am interested not only in children of the next generations but I am interested in children of other nations too. I can hear in my ears the slogan of our mission: „Every child, every nation, every day” It’s true that I can’t do it every day but, I am trying to reach out to the children who speak Ukrainian too. At the moment we are just at the beginning. There’s a big difference between their culture and religious concept. For example, according to them God is somewhere in an unreachable height and we only can be in touch with Him trough the holly icons and holly liturgy and especially through „Batiuska” (the orthodox priest) This is a great misery. They do not speak about sin at all, for them it’s enough to concentrate on not to do something wrong and to fall out of God’s grace. This false view goes together with a lot of superstitions, and other demonic things which keep in bondage the children.
This is the fourths summer since we bring this type of children to our camps. For the first time in Bereg Camp. I thought that we can have a bigger influence of the children if they can hear and see the Gospel lived by real Christians day by day. Not to many came. Less than I expected.
They are afraid to come because the „Batiuska” told them that we are a sect. Interestingly our church is 400 years older than their....
It is sad, but it is important that those few children heard the Gospel!
When one of the boys went home asked his father to sit next to him and he thought his father the songs they sang at the camp and told him that he can pray with his own words to God. This is a great thing and we know that repentance is God’s work and He will complete the work as in many other places. Pray for them that the Word would come alive in their lives and help them to born again.

15 years and that follows...
I watched as the bride gives her hand to the bridegroom and as she
smile, she is taking her most important decision. In a similar way we spent our thanksgiving conference day, when we remembered the day when 15 years ago we said yes to God’s calling and we started the work with CEF.
We arrived before the start of the program to prepare everything needed. The tables, sound system, recording, the screen for the projector .. Everybody knew his or her job as a well trained team. Everything went well only one thing we didn’t know: „How many people will come?”
The local pastor greeted the  participants and opened with prayer. Ad why exactly in Dercen was organized the conference? Because here was started the first Good News Club in Transcarpathya. And where could we celebrate better than here? There was a good atmosphere at the conference and the testimonies were good as well.
Looking back, I can see that 15 years is a long time! But what will follow next? It is good to see our courses packed with students, starting of new GNC, and to see that in those churches where the ministry is going on at least for 10 years, there’s a good community of young people: Christian mothers and fathers, some of them members in the leadership of the churches, at theological institutes and even working in foreign mission. This is our heritage of 15 years. We are not allowed to neglect or to abandon, and you can help us trough your prayers. We can see the fulfillment of things which were withhold by big barriers but trough persistent prayers these walls came down. Thank you for being alongside with your prayers and we count on you in the future too.

About our family
Levente our son, has a different schedule in his 9th grade. He visits us only once in a fortnight. This was difficult for both of us, because we thought that in this period of life he needs more of our influence. We have no other chance but to keep in touch by phone daily
We try to visit him, when our ministry makes it possible, or he needs something urgent. In school holiday they visited a school in Hungary. He returned home from this visit with a lot of experience both bad and good, but we believe that all the influences will work for his spiritual growth, by God’s grace.
Teodóra,  our daughter started to attend a youth club. We organize this club for those who are willing to spend Sunday evening happily in a Christian fellowship instead of going to a disco or watching TV. It’s good to see that she is happy to attend and she takes some of her schoolmates with her. She is helping us in our work in the house as well, it’s true that sometimes she need to be urged, but there are times when she does it happily. She is enthusiastic, persistent and studious. When she mange to achieve something, she enthusiastically tells us, when she has a bad day it doesn’t makes her sad, she is rather optimistic. We pray for her that she might develop both physically and spiritually and to integrate into our church.
Lídia just finished a medical treatment of three weeks. Husk appeared suddenly and we didn’t want to use antibiotics at the beginning but after two weeks we were forced to. She is happy to attend kindergarten and Sunday school. We pray that this husk will not be repeated and to be healed completely. When we read the Bible she is very attentive and has a lot of question regarding the Bible story. Often her questions take us away from the subject by the time we pray. Please, pray for her physical and spiritual health.
Emília  also had health problems, although not so severe as Lidia. In her case going back to kindergarten wasn’t without problems. She left home every morning crying, but as we got close to the kindergarten she stopped crying. Recently she started to tell stories made be her. I also use to tell her stories made by me, and she ask questions which proves that she understands. We pray for her physical and spiritual health also and that she would be a joy for us and for God’s glory!
